Congratulations to Ju Wenjun. She has beaten Tan Zhongyi to win the 2025 FIDE Women's World Chess Championship and becomes only the fifth woman in history to win the title five times. With her latest victory she now joins Vera Menchik, Nona Gaprindashvili, and Maia Chiburdanidze in the ranks of players to have won the title five times or more.
