After selecting to be on vacation (because Hurricane Milton is landing and passing very near where I live and a power outage -- possibly long -- may happen any time), I found the setting was erased when I made a move. This is convenient for man vacations I'm sure, but not for my use case. If a feature could be added to optionally maintain vacations despite moves, it would be nice.

30 days in the framework of a calendar year are enough for a vacation or for a natural disaster received ,,,,,we never use all the days...

Appears I didn't have the vacation set as I thought, and lost some games on timeout. My power was out more than 6 days, and i hope to make moves in the games still running.Thank you all who wished me well. We made it through OK. If a feature is added, please ensure it is possible to retain some safety while catching up -- I.e., that vacation continues until turned off.

Wish you ok and get through it all. Beyond my comprehension in truth.
I have stopped claiming time outs as policy.
I claimed time outs previously just to clear what seemed an endless and daunting list of games.
Hopefully, chess is a welcome distraction from reality.
