Hey, guys! The author of famous and popular chess variants is here.
The problem of dying chess sites is obvious - chess, especially in the correspondence game format, is a dying game. Thanks to various chess engines, this statement can be considered definitive. However, you can attract players to the site using chess variants that are not yet covered by chess programs. Moreover, it is worth offering users chess variants that are not available on monster sites such as chesscom and lichess.
As the inventor of chess variants, I can suggest you add any of them to your site. All my chess variants are not commercial and many of them, such as Grand Dice Chess, have saved several chess sites from dying.
